Fun Little Guys

Our farm has seen something this summer that I have never witnessed in my 34 years on our farm...puppies. From start to finish we are getting to see the process. I was very impatient for their eyes to open and for them to start walking, and now they are moving (and biting) bundles of fun.

They are slowly going to their new homes, so I wanted to put a few pictures of them up on the blog. I dare you not to gush over them and say "Awwww...."
Above: Sleepy little guy is resting his head on the fence after getting a bit of food and a drink.
Below: They are learning that a good ol' scratch on their belly feels pretty good.
I like this photo below. Mom was trying to pick out which one they would like to keep. So instead of having all of them around (because they are kind of hard to tell apart...especially while moving) we were taking them outside one by one. Well, by the end of it, we had all of the puppies and the mama outside. They made a jail break. The funny part was watching the puppies follow my mom around as she tried to walk. They consider the shoestrings of any shoe a delicacy ;-)
