Greener Pastures

Lately we have been so blessed with rain! Just the right amounts at just the right times. We moved cattle today. Beautiful day to do so!
We moved our cattle out of the calving pasture next to our house. As you can see, the grass there is green, but extremely short due to having cattle on it for the past several months.
This one of my favorite areas to take pictures. I just think there is something so beautiful about the single cottonwood tree and the windmill standing on the open prairie. Today was no exception.

I had a backseat driver...she did pretty well ;-)

This is a sight I'm not quite used to. We don't usually mark up the road this much when we move cattle because the road is typically bone dry. I'm not complaining though, just a different look.

With the exception of fixing dinner and a walk with mom, the rest of my day consisted of a lot of sitting in front of this doing video editing for a wedding I filmed a few weeks ago.

Just a pretty good day all around!

Dirty windshield no more

When you don't get much rain and it is spring time, it means an abundance of critters being smashed and smeared on your windshield no matter how much windshield washer fluid you use. Thankfully this week my windshield has been clean most of the time ;-)

It's also fun to have enough moisture to allow a student to borrow your GoPro camera for a mudding video he wants to do. It came back just how I wanted...very muddy!
